Version: self-service-pre-alpha-v2 Effective date: 27 September 2026

Account privacy notice

1. Who provides the service

The provider is BRAIDPLANE SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ, ul. Leona Heyki 3C/34, 70-631 Szczecin, Poland; KRS 0001253408; NIP 9552596739; REGON 54522148900000 ("Braidplane", "we", "us").

For the agreement, complaints or cancellation, email legal@braidplane.com or write to the address above. For technical help, email contact@braidplane.com. For personal-data requests, email privacy@braidplane.com. We provide support by email and do not operate a business telephone support line. Report suspected compromise to security@braidplane.com without including passwords or access tokens.

2. Account and agreement

You may evaluate Braidplane for personal use or for a business or professional purpose. A business affiliation is not required. When acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Otherwise, you contract in your own name. You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.

You enter the agreement when you accept these terms and successfully create an account using email/password or Google. Email/password accounts require email verification before use. We record the accepted document version and time with your account and email you a copy of the agreement and privacy notice. Keep that copy for your records. Account acceptance acknowledges the privacy notice; it is not consent to marketing or unrelated processing.

Keep your credentials private and your account information accurate. Workspace owners control membership and permissions. Each collaborator needs their own account; a workspace invitation does not replace account acceptance.

3. What the free trial includes

Braidplane is a hosted tool for defining, validating, deploying and running data workflows, and inspecting their results. This offer is for the staging pre-alpha service and synthetic data on non-production systems.

The trial is free. No payment card or billing details are required. A new workspace receives 3 members including its owner, 1 project, 3 data sources and 2 deployed pipelines. There is no run-count limit. Technical execution timeouts, resource limits, security controls and permissions still apply.

The 30-day trial starts at the first successful connection test of a saved data source in the workspace. Creating an account or workspace does not start that clock. Retesting does not restart it. At expiry, changes and new executions stop; configuration and retained history remain readable. History is subject to retention settings and may expire independently of the trial.

There is no automatic paid conversion, recurring charge or minimum purchase. Any paid continuation requires a separate agreement. The account continues until closed under section 7. The trial does not promise indefinite storage or access to data that has already expired under its retention policy.

4. Technical requirements and permitted use

Use a current browser with JavaScript, cookies and browser storage enabled, an internet connection and an email address you can access. CLI use also requires a supported operating system and the public Braidplane CLI. Individual connectors require compatible, reachable systems and appropriate permissions; the public connector documentation describes their requirements. You provide your own non-production source and destination resources and pay any charges imposed by those providers. Braidplane does not charge for this trial.

Use synthetic evaluation data only. Do not submit production, confidential customer, special-category, criminal, health, biometric, children's, precise location, government-identifier or payment-card data. Account/contact details and credentials supplied through their designated authentication or connector fields are permitted for operating the service. Do not place credentials in queries, feedback, screenshots or other unrestricted content.

Do not access another tenant, evade limits or permissions, introduce malware, disrupt the service or use data or systems without authorization. You retain ownership of your content and give us permission to process it only as needed to provide and secure the service and follow your instructions. Source and destination permissions, backups and independent verification of outputs remain your responsibility. Trial termination does not undo writes already made to external destinations.

5. Pre-alpha service and changes

The service is unfinished and may contain errors or interruptions. It is not suitable for production, business-critical or sole-copy use. Keep your source of truth and recovery path outside Braidplane. There is no contractual uptime SLA or general support-response guarantee. These limitations do not remove mandatory consumer remedies or our complaint-response obligation below.

We supply updates necessary to maintain the service's conformity, including security updates, for the period required by applicable law. We may also change the service to address security threats, legal requirements, changes in supported third-party systems, or maintain and improve its operation. Changes under this agreement do not introduce a charge.

We explain changes clearly. If a change more than insignificantly reduces a consumer's access or use, we give advance email notice describing the change, its timing and the right to end the agreement free of charge. You may end it within 30 days after receiving that notice or the change taking effect, whichever is later, unless you can keep the unchanged conforming service without additional cost. More protective statutory rights continue to apply.

A new version of these terms does not silently replace the version you accepted. We give notice of proposed contractual changes and obtain agreement where required. You may close your account rather than accept a new agreement.

6. Consumer cancellation and complaints

Every personal user may cancel this agreement without giving a reason within 14 days after account creation. This contractual right applies even where a statutory withdrawal right would not apply. Any longer or more protective statutory right remains available. The 14-day period is separate from the 30-day trial activation clock.

Send an unequivocal statement to legal@braidplane.com or our postal address before the deadline. You may use the form below, but it is optional. Starting to use the service does not waive this right. There is no cancellation fee or charge for use before cancellation. We acknowledge an emailed cancellation by email. You may also request ordinary account closure at any later time.

If the service is not supplied or does not conform to the agreement, contact legal@braidplane.com with your account email, the problem and your requested remedy. We respond to consumer complaints within 14 days of receipt by email or another durable medium. Where applicable, you may require supply or conformity without charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, or terminate under the conditions provided by law. We do not require repeated unsuccessful repair attempts or restrict statutory remedies. This trial has no price to refund; that does not remove other applicable rights.

After cancellation or termination, you may request retrieval of content you provided or created using the service. We provide content that you are entitled to retrieve without charge, without hindrance, within a reasonable time and in a commonly used machine-readable format. Statutory exceptions, such as content useful only within the service or aggregated content that cannot be separated without disproportionate effort, apply. Personal data is handled under the privacy notice. Contact us by email; a self-service deletion or export button is not required to exercise these rights.

7. Closure, suspension and content handling

You may stop using the service and request account closure at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security incidents, prohibited data or disruption. Where practicable, we explain the reason and how to resolve it. We may end the evaluation service with reasonable advance email notice; urgent legal or security measures may require immediate restriction. Mandatory notice, remedy and retrieval rights remain unaffected.

Account-wide self-service export and deletion are not available. We handle closure, content retrieval and privacy requests through the contacts above. We explain the scope of resource deletion, applicable retention and backup handling when processing your request. Expiry does not automatically erase an account or every backup at day 60. See the privacy notice for retention criteria.

8. Feedback, responsibility and applicable law

Feedback is voluntary. We may use it to improve Braidplane without publicly identifying you. Neither party may use the other's name, logo, quote, screenshot or evaluation result for publicity without written permission. A separate signed confidentiality agreement continues to apply on its terms.

Each party is responsible under applicable law. These terms contain no monetary liability cap, indemnity or exclusion of liability that would limit mandatory consumer rights. Describing the service as free or pre-alpha does not waive those rights.

Polish law governs this agreement. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protection under the law of your habitual residence. You may bring a claim before any court competent under applicable law; there is no exclusive Polish-court or mandatory arbitration clause. You can seek assistance from a consumer ombudsman, an applicable European Consumer Centre or another competent consumer body. Participation in an out-of-court dispute process is agreed separately unless required by law.
